KAC Baptist Church

Our History

KAC has a long and exciting history of honoring and serving Christ in the different communities God has placed us through the years. This November we will be celebrating our 15th year anniversary, as a church. These are some important dates in our church history.

*1987*	Korean Student Mission established on the campus of University of Washington by Pastor Sungkook Kim
*November 11, 1991*	The official launch of Korean American Calvary Baptist Church (KAC) During this time met at the Baptist Student Union in the U District
*Spring of 1992*	Moved to Christ Episcopal Church in the U District
*April 12, 1997*	Purchased and moved into Skyway Baptist Church in Renton
*August 28, 1999*	Farewell service for the founding pastor, Pastor Kim
*September 12, 1999*	Ministry under Pastor Jim Bae begins
*November 11, 2001*	Celebration of the 10th year anniversary
*November 1, 2005*	Ministry under Pastor Daniel Son begins
*November 19, 2006*	Celebration of the 15th Year Anniversary
